3rd Reich Marine - Officer's saber: Blank plug-back blade, brass hilt with lion's head without glass eyes, the folding hinge with crowned anchor, blade and scabbard with matching numbers, the underside of the quillons with acceptance stamp, handle with intact wire winding. The plug-back blade with typical decorative etching and manufacturer's mark, leather sheath with brass fittings. Worn, but still in very good condition. Acceptance and inspection stamp of the Marine Condition 1 - Manufacturer Alcoso Solingen, fitting of the leather sheath at the bottom with 398 numbered the same as the back of the blade, folding hinge and brass fitting of the scabbard in the upper area numbered the same as O.2567.
