The RFT MSG 75 is a military, battery-powered, portable metal detector, formerly used by the NVA.

The device is used but has a really good condition with accessories and manual.
The metal objects located are indicated in the headphones by changing the pitch.
It is operated with three 1.5 V batteries and has an operating time of > 120 h.
The detection sensitivity for aluminum discs, thickness 5 mm, diameter 50 mm is 26 cm. Larger objects such as bombs etc. can be located up to a depth of 2 meters. This also makes it possible to search for duds.
The MSG75 consists of a search coil, a joint with a connection tube, a tube body and a headphone.
Various extension rods are included in the scope of delivery, resulting in a search radius of up to 4 m.
The locator itself weighs only 1.75 kg.
