WW2 Wehrmacht Seitengewehr 42, special rifle for carbine 98k, Eickhorn, WaA stamped, original piece with Weitze expertise
Extremely rare, contemporary original SG 42. The special side rifle for the Karabiner 98.
Brown bakelite handle with integrated tool set, wedge-shaped blade, manufacturer's stamped cof for Eickhorn Solingen and WaA hallmarked WaA 519. Scabbard body made of almost black Bakelite, the back with the original carrying clip, the leather between the blade and the handle replaced, probably the push-button on the handle head replaced. It is difficult to remove the tool inserted in the handle. However, we were able to remove the tool without any problems. Overall condition 2-
For the SG 42 there is the expertise of Helmut Weitze. The name on which the expertise was issued at the time was obscured by us in the photo. Blade length approx. 16.5 cm, total length approx 32 cm, weight 491 g. Unlimited guarantee of originality, sale with proof of age.
