The GDR NVA combat knife M66 in the box is an extremely rare piece! It is the second model that was issued in 1951. The first pure combat knife originally came from the VEB Fahrzeug- und Jagdwaffenfabrik Ernst Thälmann in Suhl and was specially developed for reconnaissance and paratroopers. The knife offered here was used in various units of the NVA, the VP and the MfS. It is a sought-after collector's item and a real rarity. The knife and box have the same number.
