The East German NVA combat knife KM66 in its original box is an extremely rare item! This is the second model. The first dedicated combat knife was originally produced by the VEB Fahrzeug- und Jagdwaffenfabrik Ernst Thälmann in Suhl and was specifically developed for reconnaissance troops and paratroopers. The knife offered here was used by various units of the NVA, the People's Police (VP), and the Ministry for State Security (MfS). It is a highly sought-after collector's item and a true rarity. The knife and its original issuing box are serial numbers match.
