Ammunition pouch of an Austro-Hungarian cavalry officer. A so-called "cartridge box." Bandolier with metal braiding, dark red leather on the back with a genuine silver front plate. Original decoration is present. In the center is the eagle of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It is made of brass, as is the rim. The side metal plaques and the buckle on the bottom are complete; these are usually missing. Signs of wear. The silver end and silver clasp are stamped with two A stamps, indicating the year of manufacture: 1835.
