A piece of childhood – the original Pustefix bubble bear in top condition!
We are offering you a true rarity:
A used, original, electric Pustefix bubble bear, sitting on a child's chair – completely overhauled, fully functional, and in collector's condition!
As soon as the bear is plugged into an outlet, the magic begins:
With a smooth movement, it lowers its right arm, dips the blowing ring into the included (refillable and non-toxic) Pustefix bubble liquid – then raises it again and gently blows the most beautiful bubbles through a small tube in its mouth. Just like many people remember it from the 70s in shop windows or in front of toy stores.
Pure nostalgia – and a real eye-catcher!
The bear's fur is complete, clean, and well-groomed. Everything works like it did on the first day. A true collector's item in condition grade 1-, including the original outer box and the rare accompanying wooden transport box – both of which are almost never completely preserved these days.
The bear has been serviced and inspected by the manufacturer. Pustefix Teddy Bear total height on a chair: 68 cm, sitting height: 40 cm on the chair.
The manufacturer's label is located on the back of the bear.
Background – why this bear is so special:
In the 1970s and 80s, only about 300 of these bears were produced worldwide – some directly by Pustefix, some from selected suppliers. They were exclusively loaned to toy retailers who purchased certain quantities of Pustefix products.
Many of these bears were used in shop windows or in front of store doors – but the rental process was expensive and was discontinued after a while. Today, only a few examples remain – and even fewer in this excellent condition with their complete original packaging.
