Finderscope for command aid 35 and Em4 range finder
Finder telescope for command auxiliary device 35 and Em4 rangefinder
This finder telescope with 10x45 monocular and a right-angled view was used on the 4 meter spatial image rangefinder - "Em 4m R(H)" - and on the command auxiliary device 35 for aiming and aligning. The 10x45 with No. 600H is a Richtmann telescope (RM-F) for the "EM 4m R(H) 36"
It is referred to as an observation telescope or Richtmann telescope. The manufacturer on the label plate on the back of the eyepiece is Carl Zeiss Jena.
The second plate is labeled RL.-F, 10x45 for KDO. HI. GER. (Command auxiliary device). The device number H and 600 are painted on the top, which was rather unusual and very rare. On the right-hand side under the eyepiece are the window and the dovetail mount for the lighting unit.
The device is painted dark gray and underneath is the yellowish-brown primer color. At the end of the lens there is a beveled sun and rain protection cover, so that the objective lens is offset inwards by about 6cm.
The 10x45 was mounted on the top left (B.-F.l.) and right (B.-F.r.) of the rangefinder and on the side of the command device.
Original paint. Weighs about 1.3 kg
Manufacturer: Carl Zeiss Jena. There are three color filters installed which could be selected depending on the daylight sunlight. The respective color can be set by turning the wheel. Yellow filter, red filter, green filter and neutral color without filter.
