Old GDR spotting scope from the premium brand Zeiss Jena, here with eyepiece 16-0. 26x magnification.
The exit pupil is 2.4 mm. This magnification is ideal for observing shy animals from a reasonable distance. There is something like a line in the middle of the eyepiece.Clear view, no dust or the like enclosed, no milky view
The first models were built in the 1930s. Above all, the versions that were produced in the GDR for many years became well-known. The spotting scope is very stable. The manufacturer used only carefully manufactured metal parts.
