KM66s are not easy to find.

The first pure combat knife from the VEB Ernst Thälmann vehicle and hunting weapons factory in Suhl,
was issued in 1966 for reconnaissance troops and paratroopers. It was used by units of the NVA, the VP (People's Party of Germany), and the Stasi.
