Set of 8 silver medals in a case - 1000 silver, Berlin Mint.
The medals show "patriots of the 1813 liberation struggle" as a bust,
their names and dates of life as well as their signature on the back.
Depicted: Scharnhorst - Clausewitz - Lützow - Blücher - Boyen - Prochaska - Gneisenau - Körner.
The medals are made of 1000 silver, all 8 have not been cleaned, are tarnished.
D = 26.4mm.
Special feature: At Erich Mielke's request, only 100 sets were minted in pure silver.
The recipients were state guests, diplomats, generals and high-ranking politicians.
