This etching of the soldier exists only once. The artist never drew pictures of soldiers again. Standing soldier, charcoal drawing drawn in 1940 by the ceramist, draftsman, and etcher Herrmann Kätelhön.
The pencil etching depicts his son, Wolfgang Kätelhön. Image size: width approximately 34 cm, height approximately 45 cm.
Kätelhön drew the picture after the death of his son Wolfgang, who fell at the age of 20 at Stalingrad.
