Very early Schutzstaffel SS dagger, SS service dagger M1933 stamped I = Munich
SOLD OUT
Very early SS service dagger M1933 stamped I = Munich
Absolutely untouched, beautiful and unopened, very early SS service dagger M1933 (I= Munich) from the manufacturer Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. Dagger of an SS-Sturmbannfuhrer. The black ebony grip with the national eagle in the grip is finished in nickel. Small damaged area on the grip, this contemporary repaired. The black enamelled lozenge with SS runes is in very good condition. As usual with very early SS daggers, the SS Ruhne are at 6 o'clock. Scabbard pitted with rust because the dagger was in the basement.
Nickel-plated quillons, the lower quillons stamped "I" on the back for the SS witnesses
I Munich. Stamped with the production place number 3 below the crossguard. Greenish to black patina. The blade is clean except for the base on the quillons with a nice deep motto, blackening evenly present. Blade with motto My honor is loyalty
Early Karl Eickhorn logo on the blade. Blister grinding of the sword sweeper during the manufacture of the dagger can clearly be seen on the blade as a sign that the blade is absolutely unpolished.
