Space rangefinder EM 2 m base model 1934 of the coastal artillery and navy
Made for the Norwegian army in the Scandinavian countries. Use in the coastal and field artillery and for heavy artillery. For the navy, the EM2 on a pedestal can be used to measure against sea and air targets. Stereoscopic method in which the target is brought into spatial correspondence with the hiking mark placed in the field of view.
Cast iron eyepiece cover, defective but available, everything can be moved easily mechanically, view is clear, but with dirt particles. Graticules in both eyepieces for spatial vision. Total length approx. 2.20 m, weight 24 kg. Length of the handrails approx. 42 cm, length of the handrails including bracket approx. 50 cm. Diameter of the support rods approx. 20 cm, distance between the rods - measured from the center of the rod approx. 75 mm. Manufacturer unknown, original color, partially repainted at the time.
