Autograph – Paul Oskar Höcker (1865–1944), writer – handwritten manuscript, three and a half pages long.
Four numbered (2–5) pages (two single sheets, one folded sheet; approx. 21 x 33 cm; folded, yellowed, and torn), containing handwritten text in black ink. On page 5, the following is inscribed in pencil: "Manuscript by Paul Oskar Höcker," accompanied by an indistinct signature (Hanns von Zobeltitz?). Paul Oskar Höcker was a German editor and author. During the First World War, he served as a *Hauptmann* (captain) in the *Landwehr* on the Western Front and acted as editor of the *Liller Kriegszeitung* (Lille War Newspaper). In 1925, he was sentenced to death in absentia by a military court in Liège for allegedly ordering the execution of a farmer in August 1914—an action purportedly taken because the farmer was in possession of a Flobert rifle.
