Wehrmacht Swiss carrying frame, shoulder carrying frame for the Wild TM3S stereo telemeter
Wehrmacht Swiss carrying frame, shoulder carrying frame for the Wild TM3S stereo telemeter rangefinder
A rare and complete set of a Swiss telemeter carrying frame from Wild Heerbrugg from World War II. The Swiss company was founded in 1921 in the canton of St. Gallen
Swiss 2-man shoulder carrying frame for Wild TM3S stereo telemeter rangefinder. Cradle with roller holder for an EM, so it could be used universally for rangefinders up to a diameter of approx. 10 cm
Carrying frame for carrying on the back during use. A 2nd man stood behind the carrier and operated the EM. We tried this with various rangefinders, EM 36 etc., which also fit due to the roller cradle.
The associated tripod is extendable and very easy to use. The accessories include the original EM cradle for the tripod, also with the roller holder for the EM.
The set is complete with shoulder carrying frame, tripod and tripod head with cradle for EM. Backpack manufacturer marked with J. Bütikofer Bern and 44 for 1944. Carrying frame and head for the tripod marked with manufacturer Wild 1224. The manufacturer of the mechanics is the very well-known company Wild Heerbrugg, which focuses on optical mechanical measuring instruments. Carrying strap stamped with Swiss cross and W. The number 1224 is the serial number, year of manufacture 1944.
The carrying frame is opened and locked at the front. The spring tension is still extremely good, functions tested.
