Original German Wehrmacht shell catcher bag from World War II for machine guns and submachine guns, manufactured by Ambach Berlin. This rare original piece bears the regimental marking "IfR 41" on the side, indicating Infantry Regiment 41 (later Panzergrenadier Regiment 41), as well as an original WaA acceptance stamp.
The shell catcher bag is made of heavy, robust linen and is in exceptionally good, undamaged original condition. The upper section is made entirely of metal and features two sturdy hooks. The leather backing reduces the metal's thermal conductivity and provides an authentic field-ready appearance.
