Soviet Medal "For the Capture of Berlin"
This medal was instituted in 1945 for participants in the Battle of Berlin.
The medal is made of brass, has a diameter of 32 mm, and
the obverse bears the inscription "ЗА ВЗЯТИЕ БЕРЛИНА" (For the Capture of Berlin) above laurel branches.
The ribbon is the classic red, black, and yellow striped ribbon of the Order of the Patriotic War.
