The Hindenburg light consists of greased cardboard, filled with wax and a wide wick that you can pull out a bit. When burning, the metal in the wax heats up, the wax softens due to the heat and burns with a bright flame. It was the light source for the German soldiers in World War II, also as an accessory in the unit lantern box. Original and unused. Manufacturer of wax goods factory Wiedemann, Deggendorf Gau Bayreuth.
We tested a candle, it burns without any problems and without crackling, even flame, see photos.
