Ww1 Barr & Stroud EM rangefinder type F. T. 27 from 1915 in a wooden box
Used in World War I, rangefinder type F.T .27, rangefinder for the infantry. Device made of brass, leather fittings with double optics. In one lens, the target can be seen with the reticle, in the other lens the distance settings can be read from the white display in the window. This rangefinder was placed next to a weapon during World War I and was used to determine the distance to a target. Also used by the infantry in the trenches. Incl. Transport box, this equipped with an adjustment aid by opening the lid, the two white lines were used for sighting. Lens at the eyepiece very milky, should be cleaned. incl. 2 dipsticks
