This detailed, patinated metal sculpture depicts a mounted German Wehrmacht cavalry soldier wearing a steel helmet and full equipment.

The base bears the engraved inscription: "Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit 1924–1938" (In memory of my service 1924–1938).
