Early peaked cap for infantry officers, so-called "crumpled cap," circa 1940.

The fine officer-quality cloth features an elegant, soft shape, complete with a Bevo metallic thread woven eagle and oak leaf wreath.

The visor is made of soft patent leather in the branch color white.

Hand-stitched cap! The interior has a light brown sweatband and silk lining. Unfortunately, the manufacturer's mark is no longer legible. Worn, with a tear in the sweatband. The exterior is in excellent condition. Extremely rare to find on the market in this crumpled version!
