The German Labour Front / NSG. Strength Through Joy / Annual Travel Plan 1937
Publisher: The German Labour Front (DAF) / Nazi organization "Strength Through Joy" (KdF).
Title / Inscription: "The German Labour Front / NSG. Strength Through Joy / Annual Travel Plan 1937".
Image: An illustrated scene with steam locomotives of the German Reichsbahn on a bridge or railway line, a signal mast, and a wide German landscape in the background, designed in the style of Nazi travel advertising of the time.
Background: During the Nazi era, KdF organized mass subsidized trips, vacations, and leisure activities for workers to bind their followers to the regime and to use them for propaganda purposes. These annual travel plans were distributed regionally through the respective KdF districts (e.g., for vacation and hiking programs).
